We provide support to companies that maintain a wide variety of retirement plan arrangements.
We offer these services for the following types of plans:
- 401(k) plans with traditional or Roth deferrals and a wide variety of employer contribution allocation methods.
- Defined Contribution plans – Profit Sharing plans, ESOP plans, 403(b) plans
- Defined Benefit plans – Cash Balance Plans
- Combination arrangements – Cash Balance and 401(K) paired plans

Anthony Chiera, CEBS, AIF
VP of Sales
Anthony brings to QPC a robust retirement services background, having worked for local Third Party Administrators, an accounting firm and a brokerage firm. He builds relationships to help businesses from high level plan strategy to administration solutions. Anthony lives in Green, Ohio with is wife and son and enjoys cycling, hiking and golfing.
William Boyer, ERPA, QPA, QKA
VP of Operations
Bill started in the retirement plan field directly out of college with Dawson Retirement Plan Services. He is a credentialed plan administrator, specializing in plan design and combination plan arrangements. As an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent, he is able to represent clients regarding their annual return filings. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Bill lives in Madison, Ohio and enjoys the outdoors.
Joyce Tysar, CEBS, QKA
Retirement Plan Specialist
Joyce began her career with a Cleveland law firm and joined QPC as a plan administrator. She has obtained her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation as well as Qualified 401(k) Administrator title. Joyce specializes in drafting plan documents and plan administration functions and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She lives in Parma, Ohio with her husband and takes as many cruises as possible.
Ken Johnson, QKA
Retirement Plan Specialist
Ken worked for several local banks before joining Dawson Retirement Plan Services. He specializes in client and advisor relations and conducts annual plan review meetings. Ken provides a full range of administration services and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Ken lives in Fairview Park, Ohio with his wife and spends time on the golf course.
John Simonetti
Retirement Plan Specialist
John started in the retirement plan field directly out of college with Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc. He is working toward becoming a credentialed plan administrator through American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. John lives in Akron, Ohio and enjoys the outdoors.
Milissa Sinnett
Retirement Plan Coordinator
QPC was Milissa’s first employment and she has been with our company ever since. Milissa learned all aspects of plan administration and currently is responsible for forms preparation for participant distributions for our clients including loans, hardships, in-service and personally assists participants through the process. Milissa lives in Strongsville, Ohio with her husband.
Our History
Celebrating 40 years of Service. Founded in 1978 and originally known as Qualified Pension/Profit Sharing Consultants, Inc., QPC was a Cleveland, Ohio firm supporting the insurance, investment and accounting communities. Since then, our name has been shortened to Qualified Pension Consultants, Inc., but our core focus continues to be providing a positive plan administration experience to our clients and professional associates.
We consistently maintain a solid position in our field and have provided service to thousands of small businesses. Today our specialties include the servicing of all types of retirement plans for plan sponsors located across the country, successfully supporting our clients and associates in the future.
